Hello, I’m plotting on joining the 75th Ranger Regiment and serving for 8 years then re enlisting as an Infantryman for at least another 8 years. But after i get out of the service i need to have a plot. That plot is to become a professional bodyguard. Not the ones you see in the movies. Thats why i plot on serving in elite units to get elite training. So here are my questions on becoming a bodyguard:
1. Granted i serve the amount of time above will that be enough training/experience to gain a job as an elite bodyguard after i retire from the army?
2. How do you even find a job as a bodyguard? Do you go to their websites or what?
3. Would the U.S. Army help me land a job as a bodyguard prior to my retirement? (I know they help people with jobs after they get out right?)
4.I plot on making this a career so what are the requirements i would need to have to be in executive protection?
5. Any other answers and tips are welcome
Please i want only answers from people who are familiar with the bodyguard field. Thanks a lot!!!
